Your Guide to Farmers' Markets Near Boulder, Colorado

It’s that time of year again: Farmers market season. No matter where you land on the produce spectrum, the local vendors have something for everyone. If you’re ready to turn up for turnips, relish in radish, and set your eyes on sweet potatoes, stop by one of the following: 

Boulder Farmers Market

When: Saturdays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm (April through November) and Wednesdays from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm (May to October)

What: The Boulder Farmers Market is an eclectic, vibrant market bustling with activity, music, and a passion for elevating local produce. Vendors must grow their own food, raise their own animals, and locally source ingredients (when possible). 

Where: 13th and Canyon Blvd

Longmont Farmers Market

 

When: Saturdays from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm (April through November) 

What: The Longmont Farmers Market is dedicated to honoring the city’s rural roots. Originally flush with thousands of acres of farmland, Longmont enjoys a long history of cultivating everything from sugar beets and corn to cherries and berries. The market focuses on seasonal vegetables, fresh dairy, and Colorado-raised meats. 

Where: Boulder County Fairgrounds

Erie Farmers Market

 

When: Thursdays from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm (May through September) 

What: The Erie Farmers Market offers a wide selection of homegrown and locally produced products, including fruits and veggies, meats, eggs, artisanal breads, honey, cheese, coffee, and natural body care products. Much of the fruit comes from Palisades, a small mountain town known for its perfect peaches. 

Where: Briggs Street (between Wells and Moffat)

Lafayette Farmers Market

 

When: Sundays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (May through October) 

What: The Lafayette Farmers Market features over 80 local growers, producers, and vendors selling a range of goods, from candles, skincare, and green chili to coffee, mushrooms, peaches, and breads. Live music and plenty of prepared foods make it a great place to stock your fruit basket, grab breakfast, and celebrate community.

Where: Public Road (between Cleveland and Geneseo)

Louisville Farmer’s Market

When: Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (May through October) 

What: The Louisville Farmers Market was voted the best farmers market in Colorado in 2023, 2024, and 2025 by the Farmers Market Coalition. It features a wide array of traditional and out-of-the-box products. You’ll find typical market fare, along with health drinks, hand-sewn bags, art, homemade salsas, and more.

Where: Front Street in Downtown Louisville
