The Firefly Handmade Market is coming to both Denver and Boulder. Taking place at the end of summer and the start of fall, these markets invite you to stroll historic streets, mingle with friends and neighbors, enjoy delicious food, and browse a wide variety of arts and crafts.

Whether you’re searching for pottery, jewelry, photography, paintings, purses, clothes, candles, toys, artisanal snacks, or something else, you can find it through Firefly. Here’s what you need to know about these upcoming events:

The Denver Market

The Firefly Handmade Denver Market will be held on September 6th and 7th at the well-known South Gaylord Street. Located in the center of Washington Park, this event offers a great opportunity to enjoy the sunshine before the cooler weather arrives.

Attendees can expect the following:

• Over 80 artisans featuring tons of handmade goods

• Live music, including performances by Delta Sonics, Strings and the Box, the Matt Flaherty Band, and Awkward Handshakes

• Food and drinks from local venues

• Family-friendly activities

Admission is free, and dogs are welcome.

The Boulder Market

The Firefly Handmade Boulder Market will be held from October 3rd to 5th, aligning with the Downtown Boulder Fall Fest. Located on Pearl Street, this three-day event combines shopping, food, music, community, and family activities.

A few highlights include the following:

• Over 100 artisans featuring arts and crafts galore

• A beer garden (with wine and cocktails, too)

• Live music

• Street performances and demos

• Tons of people watching (it’s Pearl Street, after all)

• Food and drinks for local restaurants and pubs

Unlike the Denver market, Boulder’s event is dog-free because pets aren't allowed on Pearl Street.
