Marching Into March: Things to Do In Boulder, Colorado

March in Boulder offers a wealth of activities. From going green at St. Patrick’s Day celebrations to meditation breaks and food festivals, it features eclectic adventures and out-of-the-box experiences. If you’re looking to put something on your calendar, consider one of the following:

Avery Brewery Tours

Avery Brewery Tours are specifically designed for those known to give a little TLC to IPAs, lovers of lagers, and beer buffs. Taking place each Tuesday through Sunday at 4:30 pm, every tour offers a behind-the-scenes look at the production process, ingredients, yeast and fermentation science, barrel-aging, and more. Of course, beer tasting is also an important part of the tour! In other words, come thirsty!

Succulent Sips at Limelight

Succulent Sips at Limelight takes place on the afternoon of March 4th. This special happy hour welcomes you to a laid-back, friendly workshop where you’ll design your own succulent arrangement while enjoying wine and cocktails. It’s the perfect way to break up mid-week monotony with something different.

Healing Cloud of Sound

Healing Cloud of Sound Meditation Concert takes place on March 5th. Using Himalayan singing bowls, gongs, and more, this is a transformative experience led by Atma Buti-certified teacher Tomoko Mays. Enjoy a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life by immersing yourself in the moment, vibing with vibration, and finding renewal through new adventures.

St. Patrick’s Day Puppy Parade

The St. Patrick’s Day Puppy Parade is the cutest event on this list (and, perhaps, throughout Colorado). Taking place on March 14th, this parade features the adorable dogs of Boulder and includes a pet costume contest (bring out your Golden’s most festive green outfit!). Whether you have a red-headed spaniel, an Irish setter, or a dog daring to chew up your bedroom slippers, all are welcome!

World’s Smallest St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The World’s Smallest St. Patrick’s Day Parade takes place on March 14th on Pearl Street. A celebration of Irish culture and community spirit, this parade features bagpipes, wolfhounds, cruiser bikes, drill teams, and Irish dancers. Inspired by leprechaun lore, it’s a short but powerful experience, and it doesn’t end at the edge of the block: The party continues at Oddfellow Lodge.

Taste of Pearl

The Taste of Pearl invites participants to come hungry and leave happy. Taking place on March 29, this event highlights Boulder’s vibrant and diverse culinary scene. Centered on unique Colorado dishes and plenty of references to the local beer culture, it turns downtown into a food and visual spectacle. Stroll through Boulder’s art galleries and retail shops, tap into your inner foodie, and enjoy springtime in the Rocky Mountain air.

Whether you’re looking for a never-done-before encounter, a community-focused get-together, or an exploration of untapped hobbies, Boulder invites you to March into March with plenty of options!
